Wayne Sammut: “Yesterday’s electoral victory.. reflects students’ loyalty and faith”

Following yesterday’s landslide victory in Kunsill Studenti Mcast (KMS)’s Election, The Third Eye    contacted Pulse’s President, Wayne Sammut, to give his first comments.

“Yesterday’s electoral victory does not only collectively boost the organisation Pulse, but also reflects students’ loyalty and faith in our organisation. Not withstanding such a great victory, we must bear in mind to keep our feet on the ground. As I have already stated, this victory runs contrary to the arrogance shown some weeks ago by students who proudly stated that students have lost their faith in Pulse, and those who claimed that the organisation is facing troubling times.

We promise that with eight counsellors elected on behalf of Pulse, MCAST shall be given a new vision. This will be proved by our projects.

Last but not least, a big thank you from Malta goes towards Gozo with 120 Pulse block votes in comparison to last year, when we obtained less than 10. Gozo is not forgotten by Pulse, and during the coming weeks I will be personally visiting the Gozitan campus once again. Congratulations to Stefan, elected as a Gozitan too.

Thank you.”
