Tonight’s much awaited encounter between UoM Futsal and Sliema Futsal ended in a 1-1 draw.
Shawn Deguara found the net for UoM Futsal in the 1st half, while Sliema equalized in the second half.
This means that now UoM Futsal have mathematically earned the 5th spot in the table, which means that they will be playing the Elite Division, together with Luxol, Valletta, Swieqi and Hamrun.
Undoubtedly this is a huge milestone for UoM Futsal, who in just three years managed to rank amongst the top five local futsal teams.
