Yesterday evening UoM Futsal earned a 1-1 draw against Sliema Futsal, which means that now UoM Futsal will be playing in the Elite Division.
Speaking to The Third Eye, the President of UoM Futsal, Stefan Cutajar, explained that tactical discipline and sacrifice were of cardinal importance to achieve this result.
“I would like to thanks all the players and technical stuff, long hours of training have paid off,” explained Cutajar.
“Having said that, there is still a lot to improve, we need to be more accurate in front of goal.
“Now in the Elite Division amongst the best teams in Malta we need to be realistic. We must bear in mind that we’ve got no pressure and it’s the other teams which have everything to lose. Most importantly we need to use this experience to improve and grow up as a team,” concluded Cutajar.
