Following UM Rowing club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 14th of February 2022, UM Rowing Club renewed its trust in last year’s executive team with the addition of one new general member. This showcases the dedication and trusts the executive team has for the Club and how much more they are willing and capable of giving.
The UM Rowing Executive team are the following:
- President – Rebekah Caruana
- Secretary-General – Raffaella Baldacchino
- Treasurer – Luke Frendo
- Training officer – Gianni Ciappara
- Social Policy Officer – Jacob Callus
- General members – Dr. Michael Borg and Elise-Anne Borg
Presidential Comment:
The President of UM Rowing Club Rebekah Caruana who just got re-elected for the third term in row said after the AGM:
Over the past year the club has doubled the fleet as well as held the first international coastal rowing competition in Malta. For the upcoming term the team has a number of projects planned and we are excited to see what this year will have to offer.
Caruana also extended her welcome to everyone interested in joining the club by saying:
