Today, Tourism students have complained that, after almost two months since they have sat for their January exams, they still haven’t received any result yet.
A second year Tourism student, who preferred to remain anonymous, has expressed his frustration with The Third Eye, as he explained that almost two months have passed since he has done the first exam, Operations and Management for Tourism Culture, on the 19th of January, and not even one result has been published yet. He said that studying for no less than six exams and submitting two other exams is already frustrating enough, “let alone still not knowing where you’re standing two months later.”
When contacted by The Third Eye, TSA (Tourism Studies Association) President Gilbert Amato Gauci said that, after checking out the situation with the ITTC (Institute for Tourism, Travel and Culture), he wishes to explain to his fellow students that the deadline for lecturers to hand in the results is the 20th of March (next Friday). Following that, the results have to go through an examination board and only after that can the results be published on Esims.
The TSA President mentioned that following that, results would be published, “at one go, although obviously, one cannot expect results of each year to be published one the same day.”
