Junior Achievement Young Enterprise (JAYE) Malta Foundation provides 6th form students with the opportunity to form their own mini company and sell a product to the general public for a profit. It enables students to learn about the business world and all its challenges.
Our company APPlause, a JAYE Company, is composed of eight members in total. We have come up with a mobile application called TMI — Events and Party Finder. This mobile application contains a vast amount of the events happening all around Malta.
Our idea for the app stemmed from the horrible incident that occurred at PlusOne in Paceville a few months ago. We realised that many teenagers would simply go to Paceville for fun, with little alternatives. APPlause, a JAYE Company provides youths with alternatives which they may have not been aware of.
TMI — Events houses all kinds of activities which range from Parties to Cultural events. Not only is our app suitable for youths, but families and adults can also make use of this.
The application itself is easy to use and does not require constant Internet, so you can view the list of events wherever you are, just as long as you refresh it when you are connected to WIFI. TMI — Events and Party Finder is also linked with google maps for the corresponding location, enabling ease of use.
TMI — Events and Party Finder is available on both iOS and Android. We are proud to say that within a day of being released on the app store we were number 17 on the charts. It’s an extremely useful app and you should definitely download it today!
