"The Student Fund’, a project launched by Pulse at G. F. Abela Junior College this month, has kicked off positively.
Since the launch, Pulse has been working tirelessly in order to encourage students to contribute a small amount of their monthly stipend with the aim of tackling social poverty amongst students and their families. Students may fill in an application form in order to donate €1, €2 or €5 from their stipend on a monthly basis.
So far, over 1000 Junior College students have participated in the #ShareYourStipend initiative. When contacted by The Third Eye, Pulse Vice-President, Ayrton Mifsud, stated "we were overwhelmed with the huge feedback. Junior College students will be contributing €14,000 annually to the Student Fund. A big thank you!’
But Pulse will not stop there. Next week the same initiative will be introduced at the University of Malta and at MCAST.
