Getting into the University of Malta is definitely an achievement, but those who claim that being a student at Malta’s University is easy, have probably never stepped foot on campus grounds.
One faces a huge number of challenges at University and academics are just a fraction of it. Challenging times bring around emotions and naturally different emotions cause different facial expressions. These are a few familiar ones.
1. When your lecturer announces, “all powerpoints will be uploaded on VLE”
2. Then he resumes, “…this credit is compensatable”
3. Getting a 35 in that study-unit…
4. Is there any better feeling than seeing a vehicle reversing out of a blue parking space as soon as you drive into parking 6?
5. When during the first lecture of a yearly study-unit, the attendance sheet is being passed around and you see your "beloved’ ex’s name on it.
6. The way you feel when a few minutes before an exam, your classmates start discussing a topic that you’ve never heard of.
7. However, you would probably act like this
8. When you hear someone assuming that multiple-choice examinations are easy
9. As you probably feel like this when answering a multiple-choice question
10. When assignment deadlines start approaching
11. When after an exam you start discussing the titles and you notice that you’ve got it all wrong…
