Miscon(tra)ceptions

Fortunately, the use of contraception has increased among the world. Although we are told to use protection, we are generally not as aware about their pros and cons, on how they should be used, what effects they have and any other useful information one might have. Throughout this event experts in the field, such as professionals from the GU clinic and sex therapists will be present.

Q&A

A live-streamed video will be published, featuring professionals from the Willingness Team. The professionals will be answering questions asked by YOU. A website has been set up for people who would like to ask any questions about their sexual health, their sex lives, their sexuality or anything relating to the topic. The questions may be asked anonymously – should you wish to ask any questions you may do so by going on www.slido.com and entering the code:#KSUSH. The website will open on the 13th of February.

Sex Catalogue

In an increasingly networked society where people are always ready to connect, the pacing of emotional intimacy has to be constantly tweaked. Dating apps facilitate rapid connection and constant communication, however, they have disillusioned us from raw and intimate connections with each other. Has tinder replaced, or is it on its way to replace the traditional way of connecting with people romantically? During this workshop, we will take a step back and visualize the time before Tinder/Grindr, and breakdown the pros and cons to dating apps. Has tinder facilitated sex? Has it broken values, or broken taboos? Has it made youths and adults look at these apps as a sex catalogue?

Date: 19th February

Time: 3:00 pm

SUI: sex under the influence

This event will be looking at how drugs can affect one’s sex life, avoiding sexual dysfunctions, looking into risky behaviour one may do once they are other the influence.

Date: 20th February

A great start to semester two!
