Seven Players Dropped from Sultana’s Provisional Squad

This afternoon, President Stefan Cutajar, posted in the Mdina Knights Futsal group the names of the final squad for the coming season.

The seven players from the provisional squad who were dismissed are: Aidan Caruana, Rodrick Zerafa, Robert Baldacchino, Lee Grech, Ryan Cutajar, Jonathan Farrugia and Neil Smart Costantino.

Now that both John Micallef, the former captain and Cleaven Portelli, the Knights top-scorer, do no longer form part of the team, it will be a brand new start for the Knights.

Goalkeeper Matthew Gatt is likely to be the captain and it will be up to players such as Ryan Micallef, Andrea Farrugia and Paul Scerri to lead the club to glory. Whatever the outcome will be, the future looks bright for the Knights!
