While both Pulse and SDM are gearing up for the upcoming KSJC election, certain arguments continue to stir controversy.
Captioning the video with “desperate times…desperate measures”, SDM’s Junior College Coordinator, Gabriel Micallef accused Pulse members of vandalising a hammock which they had set up in the morning to mock KSJC’s failure in fulfilling this proposal till now. SDM claimed that this was done so that they would shed negative light on SDM members. Meanwhile, KSJC President Jake Scerri confirmed with The Third Eye that in the past consultation meeting, KSJC mentioned that this project, being part of their electoral programme, is to be completed in the coming weeks and that the Principal’s go ahead is the final confirmation that Junior College Students’ Council is waiting for.
Upon such accusations, Pulse President, Wayne Sammut released a statement on behalf of the organisation regarding this issue. With complete honesty, he stressed the fact that all allegations made against Pulse are completely false and that they are simply an attempt by SDM to ruin the organisation’s reputation as well as their hard work. Sammut further concluded that he will be taking all the necessary legal measures to ensure that Pulse’s name is cleared.
