SDM Launch their Candidates for KSU Elections l Robert Napier to Run for President

This afternoon, Studenti Demokristjani Maltin (SDM) launched their set of candidates for this year’s KSU Elections, underneath the slogan ’Il-Pass li Jmiss’.

Contesting for the role of President is Robert Napier, who after occupying the roles of Social Policy Commissioner and Secretary General in 2015-16 and 2016-2016-2017 respectively, is now ready to take the next step. Meanwhile, former KSJC Secretary General, Steve Zammit Lupi, is going to contest for the role of Vice-President, after serving for a year in the Culture and Entertainment Office. Then, Carla Galea, who was one of the brains behind Front Favur il-Mina, is contesting for the role of Secretary General.

Another KSU member who opted to extend his KSU experience by another year is Joseph Theuma, who unlike Napier and Zammit Lupi, is aiming to hold the role of Financial Office. Former ICTSA President Michael Aquilina is contesting for the role of Public Relations Officer (PRO). IASTE President, Anthea Fenech and MHSA President, Martina Darmanin are both  contesting for a post within the  International Office. Adding to that, Former ASA President, Gillian Asciak is contesting on the SDM’s ticket for the role of Education Coordinator, while Celine Talbot, who currently occupies the role of Social Policy Officer for TDM 2000, is contesting. Finally, the Culture and Entertainment Office shall be composed of Harley Mallia, who in the past years was heavily involved in Students’ Fest and also of Luke Abela, who up until recently was occupying the post of Exchange Officer within MMSA.
