As part of their latest campaign, Leave Your Mark (LYM), on Monday Studenti Demokristjani Maltin (SDM) started distributing surveys on quadrangle to get feedback from students regarding student activism.
Speaking to The Third Eye, SDM’s Secretary General, Neil Smart, confirmed that so far the number of surveys filled is over 600.
“We are very happy with the feedback we have been receiving in the past few days. While many are aware of the challenges that organisations are facing trying to engage students in their respective works, those same organisations are determined to make a difference in this regard,” pointed out Smart.
“The 42 collaborating organisations have been helping our cause, and spreading the word to all students across University. We are now looking forward to the next part of the campaign where we will be shifting the focus online. Ultimately we will be calling on all students, irrespective of their background and interest, to not be afraid to come forward, participate and leave their mark on University.”
