Following the trial sessions in the past weeks, Roberto Sarcia, who in the past two years was part of the Knights, took out his frustration on Facebook at not being selected as part of the pre-season squad.
“Apparently after 2 seasons playing for Mdina Knights Futsal I was not able to pass my ’trial sessions’ in the past 2 sessions,” wrote Sarcia on his personal Facebook account.
Sarcia also mentioned that apart from being the team’s second all-time top-scorer, he also assisted the team to win the last five matches of the last season, in which he scored in all the five matches.
Adding to that, Sarcia also mentioned that although he has been part of the Knights squad since the beginning, like other players, he still had to attend the trials.
