After long anxious days waiting for results to be published, KSU decided to opt for a petition in order to tackle this problem which is causing unnecessary anxiety for thousands of students. Despite an apparent mutual agreement that it is unfair for students to pay the consequences, things appear to be static, leaving students with no other option but to voice their concerns on social media. Earlier this today, KSU (Kunsill Studenti Universitarji) International Coordinator Daniel Vella on his personal Facebook page announced that so far two thousand signatures have been collected, which number reflects the stressful period that University and Junior College students are going through.
When contacted by Third Eye Malta, KSU President, Gayle Lynn Callus, explained that currently talks are being held with MUT (Malta Union of Teachers) regarding the problem. Callus also explained that KSU is already having talks with police and concerned authorities to get the permissions for a rally, if results are still not published by the 31st July. At the time of writing 2,358 signatures have been collected and all students are invited to sign this petition which is addressed towards Honourable PM Joseph Muscat, Ministers Evarist Bartolo, Edward Scicluna, and Unions UMASA, MUT.
