Yesterday, Pulse and Pulse Policy Forum published their initial reaction to Monday’s Budget document.
In this publication, Pulse expressed that this year’s budget is one promising a positive and strong economy which looks at the student as becoming more productive and youth as becoming more self-sufficient.
Pulse stated that this budget is one which holds the progress of student and youth at heart without any discrimination on the basis of their institution or educational level.
Overall, Pulse is satisfied with the proposals of the Budget but nonetheless, as an organisation, they emphasised on the responsibility of the Government as well as any Financial Stakeholders, to ensure that Budget 2017 as a whole, is one which can be implemented ten years from now.
This shows that Pulse is interested in having a tangible Budget which can live up to its proposals irrelevant of the position of our global economy.
