By means of a Facebook post from his personal profile earlier this evening, veteran student activist, Michael R. Piccinino, announced that he has been elected to represent Civil Society on the Malta-EU Steering & Action Committee (MEUSAC).
In his post, Piccinino thanked all NGOs that entrsuted him with their vote and thanked the Kunsill Nazzjonali Zagħzagħ (KNŻ) executive who initially nominated him on the Council’s behalf.
In addition to this new role, Mr Piccinino has long been involved in student activism, he is the current KNŻ President and is also reading for a degree in law at the University of Malta.
Having worked with him in the past, The Third Eye would like to commend Mr Piccinino for all his previous endeavours and would like to wish him the best of luck for this new role.
