Maybe his beliefs and the message which he tried to convey were not always the most popular. But even the best artistic pieces, are not always the most popular ones. Van Gogh’s artistic works were only acknowledged years after his death.
Usually composed and maintaining a calm attitude throughout his life, Ramon Casha did not need to raise his voice or cause any scenes to get his arguments across. Although I personally did not always agree with his perspective, I couldn’t help but admire the way in which he wasn’t afraid to talk about “taboo subjects”, which very subjects, local politicians themselves seem to avoid talking about.
Casha had liberal perspectives and tonight, anyone who has freedom of expression at heart, should mourn his death.
