The Third Eye got in touch with newly elected President, Martina Falzon, and former President, Davinia Agius, to get their comments on the new and previous term.
Falzon is confident in her team and looks forward to taking MKSA to great lengths!
I am eager to take MKSA to the next level. Having spent the past three years in finance, I’ve worked closely with the former Presidents and have acquired the necessary skills to take on this role. Although we are constrained by the present situation, I would like to involve more students in the activities which we are planning for the future. We have new faces from different backgrounds and I look forward to working with them all.
Martina Falzon, MKSA President
Agius looks back on her experience and the successes of the organisation throughout the past year.
From a young age, I was always keen on student activism as I believe that being part of the decision-making process, at all levels of education will result in a fruitful, educational experience for all students.
Throughout these past few months, we have grown as a team and our organisation grew with us. Together with my team, we set targets and we achieved them. We had a successful freshers week, we enhanced the brand identity, we created a breast cancer awareness campaign, we raised funds for ‘Smiling with Jerome’ Foundation and also created a website that proudly showcases our students’ creativity. We also collaborated with various other student associations.

The Third Eye wishes the best of luck to the team and looks forward to working with the organisation!
