This week, Kunsill Studenti Universitarji (KSU) shall be organising Careers & Research Fair 2016 and in anticipation of this, The Third Eye held an interview with Ryan Falzon, the KSU Education Coordinator.
“Careers week is to be held starting from tomorrow, Tuesday 23rd, lasting until this Thursday, the 25th,” explained Falzon. “There will be a number of companies and entities which are linked to a number of different faculties.”
“Adding to this we have also linked research with careers and therefore this is different from the traditional careers conventions,” announced Falzon.
Falzon explained that there are two reasons for this, primarily to promote ongoing research projects at University and secondly to promote research as a career pathway since, according to Falzon, there are a number of entities that will promote research projects.
University of Malta Research Trust (RIDT) and the University Library shall also be collaborating for this project.
“There will also be a number of sessions given by the different entities; talks from lecturers who are doing research,” concluded Falzon.
