Now that the KSJC Election fever has winded down, Junior College students are being asked to cast their vote once again, this time in a less frequent and heated election; the Junior College Board Elections. The last elected studentmembers of the executive board were Jake Scerri and Mauro Sultana, that were both contesting for SDM.
Gabriel Mallia: “As a student with a high level of experience at JC in terms of student activism; having served a student organisation for two years and now being the Secretary-General of KSJC, I believe that if elected, I have the potential to work close to the rest of the board members. Looking forward to give more work to students at Junior College.”
Owen Michael Grech: “It is already a huge achievement and of great pleasure to serve students as President of KSJC at Junior College. In my second year at JC, student activism helped me personally and I if elected next Thursday, I believe that I can be the bridge between the council and the College board; which is something ideal.”
Junior College students can vote for these candidates 16th February in room B105 between 9:00-12:00 and 14:00-16:00. Do not forget to bring your student card or ID card.
