When contacted by The Third Eye, KNZ (Kunsill Nazzjonali Zghazagh) President, Andrew Micallef, emphasised that he is not the dictator that some individuals are trying to depict.
“There are claims that people have left KNZ because of me, because of my character, but this is a blatant lie,” explained Micallef. “Meanwhile, both Nigel Micallef and Rebecca Buttigieg are leaving KNZ due to work and studying and not because they cannot work with me.”
“However, right now I cannot clarify anything else since this is still an internal matter.”
Conclusively, the KNZ President praised The Third Eye for giving him the right of reply. “After I was attacked by various individuals, other media organsiations in Universit refused to let me clear my name and only did so after I had to insist!”
On another note, Nigel Micallef, former KNZ board member, contacted The Third Eye to clarify that his resignation had been sent on the 1st of July 2016. Nigel Micallef resigned due to his recent commitments with an independent organisation abroad. Micallef felt that this commitment would restrain him from contributing to KNZ. The Third Eye would like to wish him the best of luck with his endeavours abroad.
