KNZ allocates €2000 to relaunch the Cultural Fund

In a Press Release issued today, the National Youth Council announced that it will be allocating  €2000 of its annual budget so as to relaunch the Cultural Fund.

KNZ’s President Michael Piccinino, explained to us that “As a council we believe that much more should be done to promote culture and the arts with Youths. It is for this reason that we are proposing that the Culture Pass should not only be limited to those under 16 but should be widened and available to all youths and  it is also for this reason that we are even relaunching our own Culture Fund.

The ’KNŻ Cultural Fund’  will serve in encouraging youths to participate and/or  attend cultural activities. This Press Release is a clear call for greater investment in youth’s participation in cultural activities.

The Council calls on the government of Malta to help in finding means so as to encourage the participation of youth in local art and the culture scene especially due to Valletta 18 and the 2020 Strategy.
