Has In Transit popped up on your Instagram feed yet? This upcoming project by UOM’s communication students touches upon a diverse array of relationships- be it with objects, art or people.

The project forms part of the Magazine and Digital Publishing study unit, aiming to share the importance of connections. It is built on values of authenticity and the raw beauty of storytelling. Reading some of In Transit’s pieces is a guaranteed portal to an alternate reality. It is also bound to ignite a genuine appreciation for authentic connections.

In Transition: Keeping Up Connections

If COVID-19 has taught us anything, it’s that we should not take company for granted. It’s also taught us how to get creative with the way we maintain our sense of connectedness. In Transit brings this creative element to the table by empowering the voices that need to be heard.

The team behind In Transit which includes editors, marketers, graphic designers and social media communicators hope to uplift us-the viewers. The photographers and videographers carry on this sentiment as they capture the many sources of inspiration.

Keep an eye out for In-Transit’s e-publication, launching on May 22nd!
