Only a few days have passed since Studenti Demokristjani Maltin (SDM)’s International Officer, Beppe Galea, was elected as the new Vice-Chairman of the European Democrat Students’.
One can say that Beppe Galea is quite experience in the international field, being that this is his second term serving as SDM’s International Officer, as he was also one of the leading figures in the recent Winter University in Malta.
Speaking to The Third Eye, Galea explained that he is overwhelmed for being elected in this role.
“We shall be holding various events and activities, with the first event being organised in Romania in September, explained Galea. “Then, the following one shall be in Estonia in December to celebrate the end of the European Presidency in Estonia.”
“My main duty is going to be to take care of the different branches of social media of EDS. While needless to say, it is a huge satisfaction for me to be elected in EDS, now I shall also be striving to be a voice for Maltese students and their respective concerns,” concluded Galea.
