How an Irish pub ended up selling beer for 50c last night

Germany’s 7-1 win yesterday may have shed tears amongst Brazilian fans yesterday, but it certainly put a smile on those customers watching the game at  Roisin Dubh in Galway.

The staff decided to reduce the price of the participating country’s beer by 50c for every goal scored..

And the rest is history..

Surprisingly, they have a similar offer for tonight’s semi-final match between Argentina and the Netherlands and a big win for Holland will go down well with the pub’s customers considering that Heineken is made in Holland!
