Health is Wealth – make the change and cash in

Uni tends to take a real toll on you, irrelevant of whether you try to take care of yourself or not. If you simply don’t care and eat ramen noodles every other day your body will suffer – and if you try to keep fit and healthy, your wallet will.

ASCS have rallied together several student and health orgs to lift you out of the limbo that is the uni lifestyle. We present to you, Health is Wealth. This week the Quad will be transformed into an oasis of tips, tricks and skills that will help you lead a better, healthier and most importantly a more budget-conscious uni lifestyle.

Anyone who ever had the blessing of embracing uni life is well aware that good grades and deadlines are prioritised in students’ lives, as it should be. However, more often than not it is unfortunately at the stake of a proper diet, mental stability and God forbid – exercise. That said, the campaign will be tackling these 3 pillars of a healthy lifestyle: nutrition, mental health and physical activity.

This week will be jampacked with everything and anything you need to achieve fitness-guru status on Instagram.

Be it instant life-hacks or long-term life changes, you’ll be covered. With deadlines and exams coming up; get your life in order, and take advantage of the discussions, workshops, and activities that’ll be at your disposal. Whether it’s a few tweaks and buffs or a complete and drastic life change, you’re bound to have acquired something from the week.

The event starts tomorrow, 26th November and lasts till 2nd December on Quad. ASCS will be collaborating with UoM Futsal, MMSA, MHSA, Betapsi, Wolves Rugby, UoM Rowing, Fondazzjoni Pippo and the National Blood Transfusion Service.

Health is Wealth – so make the change and cash in.
