Greenhouse AGM Press Release

The Student organization Greenhouse Malta will be having its Annual General Meeting on the 18th of September at 7.15 pm, although it is encouraged to be there fifteen minutes before. It shall take place at the Common Room, Student’s House, University of Malta, Msida. The common room is accessible for wheelchair users.

Greenhouse Malta is a student organization that was set up in August 2008. Is aims to inspire interest and the active participation of students in the social, environmental and animal welfare spheres. They work on environmental sustainability and social justice through various means and hope to continue being active and making a difference in these particular areas. This will only be possible with enough participation from the general public and their members.

Everyone is welcome to attend the AGM, however, only members can vote for the new board and contest for a position. The membership fee of 5 Euro could be paid before the start of the AGM. People could contest for the following positions: Coordinator, Secretary General, Treasurer, Public Relations Officer and Junior College Representative. It is also possible to hold another title such as Projects Leader and to be an executive member without an official title.
