We stand strong when we stand together.
The University of Malta Quad is our meeting point. The date is the 4th of December, the time? 11am. We have put a lot of effort into creating a positive atmosphere, which will intertwine arts, games and trivia that would further expand your knowledge on different cultures, or make you feel a bit less homesick in the beginning of the countdown to Christmas.
In the light of recent events we – the second-year communications students at the University of Malta – decided to come together despite our different backgrounds, nationalities, races and religions. We invite you to join us in the celebration of these differences. We invite you to join us in the celebration of being human.
By organising a fun event on campus, we want to underline the importance of intercultural communication and to invite both Maltese and international students from all over the world to contribute to our goal through the art of communication. We have prepared many fun activities, sweet prizes and surprises for all of you…so do not miss out! No matter if you just want to have a break between your Friday lectures or if you want to express your cultural background through your art, we can guarantee – you will find what you are looking for at our stands!
Why at University? Because this is where we should exchange ideas, and as George Bernard Shaw once said: “If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.”
