We live in a generation in which new editions and styles are pushed into the market before we even get our hands on the previous one. One may describe it as a wasteful generation, which does away with decent products to buy newer ones or to increase storage space. Now citizens have been given the opportunity to do so for a good cause!
GreenPak Coop Society, which operates a compliance scheme that recovers and recycles packaging waste in Malta, has rightly kept up with traditions and has once again launched a clothes collection scheme in aid of Inspire Foundation. It is giving residents the opportunity to donate unwanted clothing items with the aim of raising funds for Inspire Foundation. The latter is a non-profit organisation that provides a holistic range of services to children and adults with disabilities, with the vision of seeing better inclusion of these persons within the community.
GreenPak Coop Society is working in collaboration with various Local Councils. Residents from all the localities listed below are invited to drop off items pertaining to fashion; including clothes, handbags and shoes, accessories etc., that are still in good condition, at their Local Council’s premises. This can be done between 8am and 11am on the days indicated below.
