As the Annual General Meetin (AGM) is expected on the 24th of March, nominations for the coming European Studies Organisation (ESO) are now closed.
With no one contesting him, Cody Galea is the only student who has applied for the role of ESO President, while Miriana Calleja Testaferrata de Noto and Martina Pace Gouder are the only ones who have applied for the roles of Vice-President and Secretary General respectively.
The rest of the executive include Janice Camilleri as Financial Officer, Samwel Bondin as Events Officer and Michaela Cassar as Academics Officer. The only election which is expected to take place is between Stefan Paul and David Mallia for the role of Public Relations Officer.
This means that Emanuel Zammit, Stuart Bugeja and Ryan Farrugia, who currently hold the roles of President, Secretary General and Social Policy Officer and who were important assets in restoring ESO, will not be contesting again.
