The Council presented its annual report as well as the new members to all its member organisations during the AGM. In a post on the KNŻ – Kunsill Nazzjonali taż-Żgħażagħ Facebook page, it read that “All executive members are eager to hit the ground running and work even harder to push youths to the front of the national agenda in the upcoming year.“
We got in touch with KNŻ President Chiara Vassallo to share her thoughts on the coming term in light of her newly confirmed role.
Following a fruitful year with an ambitious workplan, I am looking forward to leading the KNŻ Executive for another year with many planned projects and energy from the Executive.
Vassallo continued that the Council will build on what was started and will always keep youth and youth organisations at the heart of any initiatives that are carried out.
We hope to continue advocating for and representing youths on the different fora and create more spaces where youth can speak up and be listened to.
