Big things to come from TDM2000 and University of Malta Futsal’s latest collab

TDM2000 will be sponsoring fellow student organisation, University of Malta Futsal

The University of Malta Futsal Team and TDM2000 Malta are proud to announce a collaboration agreement between them that will see TDM2000 Malta becoming a sponsor for the futsal team. The agreement will see a further strengthening of the relationship between both organisations which accumulated through these past few years and after some successful events, such as Phucket Bucket, which were conducted together.

This agreement is an important one for the organisation especially since it has a strategic fit with the objectives of the organisation.

University of Malta Futsal Team President, Kurt Rizzo

Both organisations represent the participation of youths and this collaboration reaps the benefit of promoting these factors further Rizzo stated. The collaboration is an important step towards either organisation helping one another in their daily operations, as well as organising of events.

This partnership also includes the participation of the University of Malta Futsal Team in various workshops, seminars, and training courses that may be provided by TDM2000 Malta and TDM International through the Erasmus+ Programme. The Futsal team are more confident than ever to look into the opportunity to conduct some sports projects in the local scene after concluding last week’s workshops in Tallinn.

TDM has always supported youth development in various ways by supporting young people in their active participation in society on a local and international level

TDM2000 Malta President Duncan Muscat

Muscat said that TDM also promotes non-formal learning to complement formal education in the various activities it organizes. The sponsoring of young athletes in developing their physical education with Futsal goes very well with TDM’s goals.

We believe that sports help in developing interpersonal, intrapersonal, and cognitive skills, Muscat said, which are very important for competence development and lead to a more complete education.
