5 Reasons Why St Paul Wouldn’t Visit Malta in 2017

Tomorrow is another public holiday. It is an opportunity to stay away from lecture rooms and away from your offices.

The feast we’ll be celebrating tomorrow may have different meanings. For the faithful Christians, tomorrow is the day when Saint Paul brought Christianity to our Islands.

However, centuries have passed since Saint Paul’s visit to our Islands and in Malta things have changed drastically. After various research and analytical studies, we have concluded that Saint Paul would not have visited our Islands in 2017, and here are the reasons why.

1.   He  would find more than one snake

2.    The anxiety of being interviewed by Mario Frendo

3.    Fear of being implicated on the alleged Acapulco scandal – #damascusgate

4.    Possibility of being labeled as "common and crude’

5.   The  never-ending bus journey from St Paul’s Bay to the Prime Minister’s Office
