5 Reasons why our Generation has had Enough of Paceville

When we were younger, the majority of us probably considered Paceville as "The Promised Land’. It was the place which we heard so much about and, despite its various negative connotations, we still anticipated the moment we got to experience and explore the place.

Nowadays, the larger part of our generation has had enough of Paceville and it has become the last, desperate option during weekends.

1.   Pointless brawls

A long time ago, Paceville was renowned amongst youths for its glorious nightlife, but nowadays it has become more popular for brutal fights and the most disturbing thing is that, very often, bouncers, the ones who are paid to ensure the safety of the party-goers, very often engage themselves in the fights.

2.   Smoking inside clubs is completely tolerated

It is utterly disrespectful for one to smoke in a public establishment, especially when it’s a crowded place, where apart from people who get annoyed by the pungent smell of cigarettes, there are others who might have conditions, such as asthma. It is indeed a pity that the enforcement of such an important law is so weakly enforced.

3.   Men might be perverts, but women have lost their pride a long time ago

Very often, women complain that perverted men often grab “their accessories” in a desperate attempt to flirt with them. However, these same women are not aware that the way they dress does not represent the "dignity’ that they speak about. While in the 21st century I don’t expect women to dress stupidly old-fashioned, I also don’t expect to see women (very often young girls) to be roaming the streets of Paceville in skimpy dresses in the midst of February, as the expression on their faces reveals that they are on the verge of hypothermia.

4.   Infantile attitude

A considerable share of people who go to Paceville, go there with the attitude of having no limits. This means that they consume excessive amounts of alcohol, which would later result in embarrassing or dangerous consequences. What is really heart breaking is seeing children in their early teens in an almost unconscious state and completely abandoned by their friends. Apart from being subject to theft, these adolescents might be subject to more serious things, such as rape.

5.   The environment is anything but safe

Only a small number of clubs in Paceville control the number of people that enter into the respective club, if any. Needless to say, extremely crowded places make the situation highly unsafe, both because pick-pocketing becomes a much easier task, and also because of the chaos that occurs if an accident happens, since it becomes more complicated for people to exit the club.
