Following yesterday’s election for the appointment of three Student Representatives on Senate and one Student Representative on Council of the University of Malta, the newly appointed members have been announced.
Denis Muscat and Patrick Gatt, have been the post-graduate candidates chosen by the students to represent them on Senate together with undergraduate Daniel Vella, who was elected with 497 votes.
Alexander Hili has been elected as the Student Representative on Council.
The online election was held yesterday between 9:00 and 18:00 and overall the turnout was a very encouraging one with over a thousand votes cast by secret ballot
