3 Students, 1 Role: Betapsi PRO Elections

Following John Paul Muscat’s resignation from the role of President of Betapsi, the Extraordinary General Meeting for this organisation will be held today at 4:30pm at University Chaplaincy.

On the event, Betapsi published the names of the three students who will be contesting for the vacant position of Public Relations Officer within the organisation. This position became vacant after a quick decision had to be made whereby Valeriya Bonkova was chosen to be the new President instead of Muscat and former Public Relations Officer of Betapsi, Michaela Scerri, became the new Vice-President.

Daniel Ellul, Gabriella Cauchi and Shanice Abela are competing to take the vacant position within the organisation whilst emphasising their vision for Betapsi and their determination and energy to work hard in order to create more awareness about opportunities for the students, who one of the three, will eventually be representing.

Both Gabriella Cauchi and Shanice Abela are third year Bachelor of Psychology (Hons.) students, whilst Daniel Ellul is about to start his second year of the course in the coming weeks.

Although there are three students interested in the same one role, today’s meeting will confirm who is most fit for the position within Betapsi so as to ensure the smooth running of the organisation after a hectic period of time.

The Third Eye team would like to wish luck to Ellul, Cauchi and Abela for today’s elections.
