1. According to Her Majesty, Malta is the only place she calls home. She lived here as a Princess between 1949 and 1951.
2. During her stay, Prince Philip was positioned as a Royal Navy Officer. She lived as a military wife.
3. Queen Elizabeth II served as a mechanic and a military truck driver during World War II.
4. Villa Guardamangia is the Queen’s and Prince’s former home.
5. In the early 1950s, the couple used to go dancing at the Venetian Hotel, situated in Valletta.
